The Wilderness Season.

Have you ever been in that season of life that you doubt everything you ever believed in??
Maybe it was in friendships, business, religion or family but something you have put all your trust in has failed you and it has put you into a personal crisis? It is at this point that you are in the wilderness wondering where God is not seeing him for all the trees, and needing to hear his voice yet the voices of fear, bitterness and anger are so loud it is hard to hear and then you wondered did I ever hear his voice??? When we find ourselves here it is hard to talk about or discuss because of that lack of trust or fear that those around you will think you have totally lost it which you probably agree and just walk away feeling the hurt going even deeper.

It is in those season that I know God is calling our names and asking us to go deeper with him. Wanting us to hold on through the wilderness so that we do not get lost and know that once again that focus, refreshment and deep passion will once again fill us. It is in the wilderness that we will find his provision and guidance once again, calling out to him in desperation for our spiritual lives knowing that he is our only Saviour and maybe that is why we are here in this place to begin with, to remember him, to find humility, grace and a 1st love that we had lost.

I am doing the Priscilla Shirer study "One in a Million" This study has provided the scripture and focus that I need right now and reminds me that God is with me and with us during these times in our life that life is just too hard to live without his consent love and presence in our lives. He has provided me through this Bible Study with the scriptures that I need, the Holy Spirit every morning reminds of me of how great God's love is for me and how faithful his provision.

Exodus 15: 22-25, 27
Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water. When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, "What are we to drink." Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet.
Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there near the water.

Thank You God for your faithfulness and your patience as we go through the wildernesses of life, you are my King.

I would love to hear from you:
